Temporary-to-Hire Property Manager

Location: Pasadena, CA (and surrounding areas)

Pay: $25-$32/hour (DOE)

Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking experienced and adaptable Property Managers for temporary-to-hire opportunities supporting a variety of clients in the Pasadena, CA area. These assignments may include residential, commercial, or mixed-use properties, offering a dynamic opportunity to gain exposure to different portfolios and management styles. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with strong organizational skills, excellent tenant relations experience, and a solid understanding of property management operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of assigned properties.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, vendors, and property owners.
  • Manage leasing activities, including showings, screenings, and lease execution.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and vendor services.
  • Conduct property inspections and ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Handle rent collection, delinquencies, and basic financial tracking.
  • Assist with budgeting, reporting, and financial performance monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal housing regulations.
  • Resolve tenant concerns and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of property management experience (residential, commercial, or mixed-use).
  • Strong knowledge of leasing practices and property operations.
  • Familiarity with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, MRI, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across different assignments.
  • Knowledge of California landlord-tenant laws preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required for some assignments.

Work Hours: Specific work hours will be determined based on client needs and assignments.
